About the role

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Head of Development to lead the next chapter of Hello Sunday Morning’s growth. This is a rare opportunity to shape the organisation’s brand, marketing and fundraising vision and drive sustainable revenue across philanthropy, grants and corporate partnerships.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a talented and passionate team and build the strategy, culture, and partnerships needed to take Hello Sunday Morning’s fundraising to the next level. You will bring energy, creativity and discipline - uniting data, storytelling and strategy to connect people and organisations to a mission that changes lives.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will work closely with the Executive and Board to build high-value relationships, craft inspiring cases for support and ensure every partnership and donor experience reflects our values of innovation, excellence, curiosity, caring and evidence-based practice.

About you

You are a confident and values-driven fundraising and marketing leader who thrives on collaboration and results. You bring:

  • Proven experience leading multi-channel fundraising or revenue programs in the not-for-profit, health, or social impact sector.
  • Proven experience growing brand recognition and trust through multi-channel marketing.
  • A strong track record of achieving and exceeding income targets.
  • A strong track record of aligning brand, messaging and fundraising campaigns.
  • Leadership capability to inspire, coach and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with an ability to balance vision and execution.
  • Strong relationship and partnership skills, with confidence engaging senior funders and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to inspire action and generosity.
  • A deep connection to purpose and a belief in the power of digital health to create change.
