CEO, Dr Nicole Lee reflects on 2024 and looks to the future

Coming hot on the heels of the pandemic, 2024 threw up a whole set of new challenges, with cost of living pressures becoming a new stress for Australians, making our services more important than ever.
It’s been a significant year for Hello Sunday Morning, with some big changes in leadership and direction. We have been building the foundations of our 2024-2026 strategy as we prepare to celebrate our 15-year anniversary in 2025.
Our new strategy draws on our beginnings and builds on nearly 15 years of experience delivering peer driven early intervention for alcohol.
We recognise the deep connection that alcohol has with mental health, which drives our focus on expanding access to our services, developing new digital tools to fill critical gaps in stepped care and strengthening our partnerships to amplify our impact.
We acknowledge the Hello Sunday Morning community and the individuals that we support in and out of Daybreak. Those with lived and living experience are central to what we do and we are in the privileged position to be able to codesign tools, programs and services that make a real difference to individuals and their families and communities.
The 2024-2026 Strategic Plan marks a transformative phase for Hello Sunday Morning as we continue to lead the way in reducing alcohol harm and promoting healthier lifestyles.
We are in a rapidly evolving digital landscape and our plan leverages that momentum to establish Hello Sunday Morning as leaders in digital healthcare. With that in mind we have been working towards accreditation under the Digital Mental Health Standards in addition to our health services accreditation through ISO9001. We look forward to continuing the cycle of expansion, improvement and positive change to grow Hello Sunday Morning’s impact in 2025.
